Heather Steer is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and Certified Divorce Coach who felt called to help the "out spouse" - the spouse who needs support getting back on their feet and rediscovering their new normal.

She founded a private practice in Southern California after going through her own divorce and thinking there must be a better support system for the days that you are too emotionally and physically exhausted to face all of the decisions and organizing that the divorce process requires. At the beginning of 2020, Heather teamed up with fellow Divorce Coach Laila Aitken to launch a technology company, Split.fyi. that provides one place where people feel safe to explore options, gather information, connect with others, all while working on healing through their divorce and separation.

Split.fyi offers free resources for splitting/divorcing spouses to find financial education, mediators, learn negotiating skills, connect with those who have "been there" and much, much more.
